  1. Hello SLW

I have already heard this -- it's excellent. Listening to him, Ravenhill, people like that -- it's a spooky experience, to hear men who really love God so much that nothing much else matters.

  2. Interesting description of Ravenhill, et al, Anthea. Spooky but inspiring.

  3. SLW,

This was a great sermon. Thanks for linking to it. I can really resonate with this type of preaching. Was there something in the sermon that concerned you?

  4. John,
I had heard of this sermon before, but didn't know it was still available, so when I came across it, voila, the link.

I think this was a great sermon, especially for big venues. I don't know what kind of a congregation it was preached before, but it had the rhythm and built toward a crescendo that works very well for a larger crowd, and it did so without being ostentatious. So it gets an "Amen" from me.

If I have any beef with it at all, it might be in regard to the conception of repentance that's communicated within it. I'll probably post on that subject on another day. That aside, I think those that heard it preached were well served by hearing it.
