Reasonable Advice for Dealing With the Unreasonable

Some sage advice from Jeff Leake. Have you ever been stumped, flumoxed and left scratching your head from dealing with someone who's just plain unreasonable? Would Pastor Leake's counsel have helped you?

  1. Hi Pastor,

Greetings from this side of the world. I hope the snow isn't too bad for all of you. Keep warm.

Fully agree on the advice given in dealing with unreasonable people.

Days before we left for Singapore for our Chinese New Year holidays, a reader was asking me for a certain recipe. Didn't have time to reply cos' was busy with the packing and stuff so left it. The next day later, she posted a comment "scolding" me for being so selfish...talking about Christ in my blog yet so selfish in sharing recipes, blah, blah...Hmm. Of course, I was speechless and didn't want to reply her. I chose to shut of anonymous tab instead.

  2. Hello to all of you on the other side of the globe!

Unreasonable people can be very difficult and frustrating to deal with. God grants us grace to do it, though. I wonder how how unreasonable we are to him, or to other folks at times. I suppose that means being gracious to the unreasonable that cross our paths is a good thing.

It is so nice to hear from you. I visit the Nomad site from time to time just to see how you are all doing.
